Idaho Rigging is a second generation family owned business started in St. Maries and Priest River as a cable and rigging shop. In 1994 the St. Maries store, moved to its current location on Main in St. Maries. In 1996 we added small engine and saw repair. In 2006 we added Arctic Cat to the St. Maries and Potlatch location. In 2008 we bought out Curly’s Saw Shop in Priest River adding Arctic Cat and Stihl to the Priest River location. In 2010 we moved the Priest River store to its current location on HWY 2, across from the Junior High. We have certified Stihl and Arctic Cat technicians at each location. We also have a certified cable rigging inspector to do cable inspections on site. In 2018 we have added Honda power equipment, Dr Trimmer, and Generac. We stock a wide variety of work clothing and footwear to keep you safe on the job as well as making the job as comfortable as possible. In January of 2023 we sold the Potlatch store to Supreme Power Sports. Then again in August 2024 we sold the Priest River location to Supreme Power Sports. We opened a new location in Lewiston, Idaho in March of 2023. We offer a full line of cable rigging and accessories at this location as well as a test bed for pull testing cables.
We are a full service shop for all your powersport and small engine repair needs. We have a full rigging shop for all your cable needs as well.
Brands include arctic cat, stihl, bad boy, green mtn grill, oregon, cub cadet, crosby, gunnebo, and carhartt.
We do not take appointments. We operate on a first in first out basis. Call to check wait times for the season but try to stay within a 2 week out time line.
Store hours are Monday through Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 9am-4pm (St.Maries store only)
Certified rigging inspections are available as well as full test bed cable testing.

Best place in town for small engine repair. Nice selection of goods for having fun on quads, bikes or snowmobiles. There’s a ton of things for those that work in the woods. I’ve never been over charged and their work is always fast and thorough.
